Mark your calendar and plan to join us for an incredible evening at Marina Park in Newport Beach to celebrate the diverse collection of art created by a global community of people with epilepsy. Opening VIP Reception tickets are $150 per person, and general tickets are $100. Monies raised benefit HTP advocacy programs and the artists premiering at the event.
Over the past decade, Hidden Truths Project’s work has been built upon the use of a creative platform, becoming the personal narrative for our global community of people with epilepsy to share lived experiences. Although their stories and experiences are unique, a common thread unites them.
Written words are the physical embodiment of a spoken language. The words assign meaning to the external world in which we all live. Unfortunately, language is finite in its ability to describe one’s internal conflicts. Art is unique in its ability to communicate these complex, internal experiences in a meaningful way, accessible regardless of one’s written or spoken language, cultural, social, educational, or economic backgrounds. It can become a window into the life of another, to reflect their INSIDE-OUTSIDE STORY.
For more than a decade, HTP has hosted 1:26 The Art of Epilepsy exhibitions to raise awareness about the hidden pervasiveness of epilepsy in communities worldwide. We raise much-needed funds to expand our programs for the 1 in 26 people in the U.S. who will develop epilepsy in their lifetime, including the 64 million people worldwide living with this condition. We remain unrelenting in this work. Please join us in these efforts to improve the wellbeing and quality of life for these individuals.
