Please join Hidden Truths Project for an inspiring evening of eclectic art by an international community of artists living with the challenges of epilepsy. Enjoy the amazing art, while sipping on select wines & cocktails, and enjoy small bites. Help us in our fight to combat the stigma and discrimination these individuals with epilepsy encounter, while benefiting UCSF Pediatric Epilepsy Center of Excellence (PECE).
1:26 The Art of Epilepsy provides a platform for this group of young and adult artists with epilepsy to share their voices through art. Please join Hidden Truths Project in support of the PECE programs to address the mental health and well-being of individuals with epilepsy to make life meaningfully better for them and their families.
Hidden Truths Projects will be recognizing the cutting edge work in the field of epilepsy being conducted at UCSF by Dr. Daniel Lowenstein and Dr. Joseph Sullivan.
Dr. Daniel Lowenstein
Professor of Neurology and Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost at the University of California, San Francisco, Director of the UCSF Epilepsy Center, and Director of Physician-Scientist and Education Training Programs for the UCSF School of Medicine.
Dr. Joseph Sullivan
Associate Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics, director of the UCSF Pediatric Epilepsy Center, member of the Pediatric Epilepsy Consortium, which brings together pediatric epilepsy centers across the United States to collaborate on various studies in pediatric epilepsy.
Proceeds benefit the Pediatric Epilepsy Center of Excellence at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Led by Dr. Sullivan, PECE is pioneering a new model of whole patient care for children and families living with epilepsy.
