Dr. W Donald Shields
Emeritus Professor of Neurology & Pediatrics UCLA
Dr. Shields will be honored for his exceptional work in the field of childhood epilepsy. He has garnered a national and international reputation for epilepsy research and patient care, notably in the surgical approach to medically intractable epilepsy in very young children and in the development of anticonvulsant medications.
1:26 The Art of Epilepsy provides a platform for young and adult artists with epilepsy to share their voice and stories through work. Join these talented individuals in support of CNF’s Transitions of Care program which provides resources for each patient transitioning from a child neurologist to an adult neurologist with the unique experiences and needs. CNF’s Transition of Care Program—its largest and most diverse program—helping to support youth, families, and child neurology teams in the medical transition from pediatric to adult health care systems.
All ticket sales and a portion of proceeds from artwork sold benefits the work of the Child Neurology Foundation.
